When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

Payment Terms if offering a service: We accept EFT or Credit Cards Mastercard or Visa. Confirmation of dates and location by receipt.

Refund Policy if offering a service: There are no refunds dues to the small classes held. However
in urgent circumstances, we offer credit allowing attendance at another time.

Privacy Policy: Credit card and any other personal information will not be disclosed to any other party.

 

COMPLAINTS and APPEALS

All formal complaints must be received in writing .Emailing our principal. Receipt of this will be acknowledged in writing by the principal, who will investigate the complaint, following which, a response will be emailed back to the complainant. We have included this section as a formality, but in our ten years of operation, we have never had a complaint.

1. COURSE DELIVERY POLICY
When interested students decide on the appropriate training/ course. Please fill out the inquiry/application form provided on the enrollment page. We then will contact you and discuss the application. Once both parties are satisfied. Students will be sent an Invitation to attend. This invitation gives details of course dates, course/training details, confirmation of place, and an official receipt

2. REFUND POLICY
Once students have commenced a training program/workshop and program materials have been dispatched, no refund is available to those who choose not to finish the program, competency and/or unit unless exceptional circumstances have occurred to prevent the student doing so (in which case, we. Diy School cannot accept any responsibility for changes in personal circumstances or work commitments which result in non-completion of a program.We do however have already stated a credit for completion at another time.
By accepting the terms and conditions at the time of enrolment, DIY School deems this to be a Training Agreement between the student and DIY School. Following acceptance of the terms and conditions at enrolment, DIY School warrants to complete the training and/or assessment once a student has commenced
